Located at the lower reaches of Yangtze River, Wuhanis within a subtropical monsoon humid climate zone, which features splendid rainfall, sufficient sunshine, clear seasons, high temperature in summer, concentrated rainfall, and slightly cold and wet winter.

The average temperature in January in Wuhanis 3.0℃, the lowest of the year, and that in July is 29.3℃, the highest. The summer here lasts for 135 days and the spring and autumn last for 60 days respectively. The average annual rainfall is 1,205mm, most of which come at the plum rain season in early summer. The active accumulated temperature of Wuhan is 5000℃～5300℃, with a frost-free period lasting for 240 days.

The project includes a 30MW PV power generation system and an 110KV booster station. The contractor is responsible for project design, foundation, PV brackets, installation, construction, junction box, cable, inverter-included integrated American box-type transformer, first and second equipment and control system for booster station, as well as equipment for power pretest, power adjustment and safety. It is the responsibility of the contractor to carry out energy-saving and safety evaluation, report-making as well as supervision and monitoring. The contractor is also responsible for organizing related authorities to carry out acceptance inspection of the project and pays for the expenses arising from it.
