Successful Ending of the 1st Employee Badminton Game of Dasheng Microgrid

In order to enrich the spare time life of employees and deepen the understanding and communication between employees, the Party Branch, the Work Committee, the Union Committee and the Comprehensive Management Department of Dasheng Microgrid jointly held the company’s first Employee Badminton Game. The qualifying game and final game were held at Shengji Badminton Stadium on Nov. 22, Nov. 23 and Nov. 29 respectively. 

This game was classified into four types, Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Singles and Women’s Doubles, and all which adopted the elimination system, the game opponents were selected by sortilege. The qualifying game adopted the 11 point per set system, the final game adopted the 21 point per set system with the best of three. Employees from each department actively participated in and enthusiastically applied the games, they reflected the enterprise spirit of exploration, innovation and forging ahead with practical actions. 

The game was relentless elimination game from the very beginning, the competition was fierce. Every player tried his/her best to thoroughly reflected their skills in deep clear, smash, sliced smash, parrel ball, etc. White badminton ball quickly flew in the air, the site was filled with the sound of cheers and hurrahs, forming a hot scene in the winter. Each player fully reflected the competition spirit of tenaciously striving for success, even if falling behind, they still fight for every round and never give up easily. 

In the game of singles, some players favored techniques, some favored strategy; some were keen to actively attack, they had stable and powerful smash to realize instant winning; some were good at stable defense and progressing slowly before taking advantage of the mistakes of opponents to score, each one showed his or her special prowess. Comparing to the fully and delightful confrontation of singles game, doubles games pay more attention to the coordination awareness of team. Every team had smooth and natural moves as well as clear division of work from the beginning post to parrel ball at front court and to the smash at backcourt, they didn’t miss or collide a ball in coordination full of tacit understanding, they reflected the company’s excellent doubles game level of badminton.  

This badminton game lasted for three days, the site was full of highlights with one climax after another. By playing in the court, the badminton fans not only exercised their bodies and increased friendship, but also observed and learned the game of other colleagues, so as to further improve themselves. 

Finally, Hou Taiding from Low Voltage Business Department and Tie Jing from Contract Management Department won the Men’s Singles Champion and Women’s Singles Champion respectively, the team of Hou Taiding from Low Voltage Business Department and Liu Hongzhe from the Production Department won the Men’s Doubles Champion, the team of Shi Jiaolei and Yao Qiongqiong from Financial Department received the Women’s Double Champion. Duan Guoben, Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of the company and Zhang Zhijie, Deputy General Manager of the Company issued the trophy and prize to the winning players. 

This game has fully reflected the spirits of Dasheng Microgrid employees of being positive, hardworking, coordinating and constantly progressing, the game has strengthened the enterprise’s cohesion force and centripetal force, and reflected the company’s atmosphere of “Sunshine, Confidence and Harmony”. Leaders of the company gave full support and recognition of this activity.
